A visit to the Monkey Forest in Ubud

Went to the monkey forest today, which as the name suggests if a forest full of monkeys; more like a barrel full if you ask me.  Biggest I saw was about 500mm high (seated) smallest about 150mm high.  I'm told that they carry rabbies which has only been in the country for four or five years so  we were recommended not to touch them.  Rosie and I had someone take a photo of the two of us together and while we were standing there a monkey climbed onto us, he ended up on me (Pete) and all I could think about was rabbies; I got him off by letting him climb off me onto a post.

The forest workers feed them either bananas or what looks like sweet potato. We could buy bananas to feed them ourselves if we wanted, we didn't though.
